Actor John Dumelo comforted by wife as he loses bid to become member of parliament

Movie star turned politician John Dumelo may not entirely be in the best of moods following the loss of his bid to become a member of the Ghanaian parliament.

The actor’s beloved wife, Gifty, recently took to her page on Instagram with a comforting note to her husband who lost to New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Lydia Alhassan for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.

Gifty in her post commended the actor for putting up a spectacular performance and making history in the constituency as a first time contender with such stronghold.

According to her, he has raised the status quo and deserves a standing ovation for the feat achieved.

"For a first time contender in an NPP stronghold and closing the gap by such a margin, woooow !!!! you have really raised the status quo and you know what, you deserve a standing ovation."In a different portion of her note, the doting wife called on her man to dust off the loss and continue to keep his head high like a leader he has been ordained to become.

Gifty also noted that he is an inspiration to a lot of people.

"You are an inspiration to many and your hard work and determination is apparent to all. You are a winner and will always be."See post below:
