Premier League outfit Fulham are reportedly considering extending the contract of Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey.

Bassey, 26, currently has just a year left on his contract with Fulham.

The London club have the option of a possible one-year extension to Bassey’s deal, which could see him stay at Craven Cottage until June 2028.

According to TEAMtalk, the Cottagers are considering offering Bassey a new long-term deal to tie him down.

Bassey has been one of the most consistent defenders in the Premier League since joining Fulham from Ajax in the summer of 2023.

The Nigerian defender was adjudged Fulham’s Player of the Season in the 2024/25 campaign.

The former Glasgow Rangers defender has made 105 appearances for the Cottagers since joining the club.
