Former Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah is reportedly close to joining Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
After nine remarkable years at Anfield, Salah will be donning a different shirt in Turkey and is set to team up with Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu in attack for Trabzonspor.
The Egyptian international is expected to arrive in Turkey from Greece on Wednesday for transfer negotiations to continue, the club said in a statement.
The 34-year-old winger won two Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League for the Reds during his nine-year stint at the club.
The former African Footballer of the Year also netted 257 goals in 442 appearances in all competitions, making him the third-highest goalscorer in Liverpool's history.
It remains to be seen how Salah will partner with Paul Onuachu in attack for the Black Sea club.
