Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze could be on the move again this summer after Turkish giants Trabzonspor reportedly submitted a €15m bid to AC Milan for the Nigerian.
Trabzonspor are rebuilding their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season after completing eight signings and have identified Chukwueze as one of their priority targets to strengthen the right wing.
According to reports from Turkey, the former Villarreal star is high on the club’s shortlist, with discussions also involving a deal that could include an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
Chukwueze remains under contract with AC Milan until 2028 but has been linked with a move away after struggling to establish himself as a regular starter at the Serie A club. He spent last season on loan at Fulham scoring three goals and provided four assists in 23 league matches.
The Rossoneri signed the Nigerian from Villarreal in 2023 for €21.1m following an impressive spell in Spain, where he developed into one of La Liga’s most exciting wingers after joining the Yellow Submarine from Nigeria in 2017.
Trabzonspor are preparing for a demanding campaign in which they will compete in the Turkish Süper Lig, Turkish Cup, Turkish Super Cup and the UEFA Europa League, and view Chukwueze as an experienced addition to bolster their attacking options.
The club already boasts a strong Nigerian contingent, with striker Paul Onuachu, defender Chibuike Nwaiwu and winger Anthony Nwakaeme in its ranks. Trabzonspor have also been linked with another Nigerian forward, Rafiu Durosinmi.
Signing Chukwueze would further strengthen that Nigerian presence while providing the Turkish side with another proven attacking outlet as they target success domestically and in Europe.
No agreement has been reached between the clubs, and AC Milan are yet to publicly respond to the reported €15m offer. Negotiations are expected to continue in the coming days as Trabzonspor attempt to secure the services of the 27-year-old.
