Super Eagles midfielder Raphael Onyedika has been crowned champion of Belgium for the second time after Club Brugge sealed the championship with a 2-2 draw at Mechelen.

The away draw Thursday night gave Club Brugge an unassailable four points gap at the top of the championship playoffs with a round of matches to the end of the campaign.

They recorded 54 points from 39 matches, four points ahead of nearest rivals and defending champions Union St.Gilloise.

Onyedika, who was an unused sub, is widely expected to make a major transfer this summer.

He made 23 appearances and scored a goal in the regular season and then made seven appearances in the championship playoffs.

The 25-year-old defensive midfielder first won the Jupiler Pro League in the 2023/2024 season.

He also won the Belgian cup in 2025 as well as the Super Cup in the 2025/2026 season.
