Frank Onyeka has been nominated for the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for April following his impressive performances for Coventry City.
The Nigerian midfielder played a key role as the Sky Blues secured promotion to the Premier League by winning the Championship title.
Onyeka featured in three league games during the month, registering one assist.
The 28-year-old provided the assist for Ephron Mason-Clark’s stoppage-time goal in Coventry City’s 3-0 victory.
The defensive midfielder recorded one goal and one assist in 14 league appearances for Frank Lampard’s side this season.
Onyeka joined Coventry City on loan from Brentford during the winter transfer window.
Other players nominated for the award are Christian Walton (Ipswich Town), Adrian Segečić (Portsmouth), Josh Windass (Wrexham), Mohamed Touré (Norwich City), and Žan Vipotnik (Swansea City).
