Galatasaray manager, Okan Buruk, has provided the latest update regarding two of his players, Noa Lang and Victor Osimhen.
Recall that the Turkish Super Lig champions were outclassed in the Champions League Round of 16 second leg at Anfield, losing 4-0 to Liverpool.
However, the heaviest losses may be felt in the treatment room as Osimhen and Lang sustained injuries during the encounter.
Providing a brief update in his post-match interview, Buruk confirmed that Osimhen was forced off the pitch due to a worsening physical issue, while Lang faces an anxious trip to the hospital for scans.
“Noa Lang has a serious injury to his finger. He will be going to the hospital here,” Buruk said.
“Victor Osimhen is also in pain. We had to take him out of the game because his pain worsened.”
