Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq has hailed his Valencia side following their impressive victory away at Levante in La Liga.
Los Che secured a 2-0 victory at the Ciutat de València on Sunday, February 16.
Largei Ramazani gave the visitors the lead in the 64th minute before Umar Sadiq doubled their advantage with six minutes of regulation time remaining.
It was the first time Valencia had secured back-to-back league wins over their local rivals.
Sadiq, who scored his first La Liga goal in ten months, emphasised the importance of the victory for Carlos Corberán’s side in his post-match interview.
“Yes, it was really important. We know the strength of the group, having a complete squad, and that’s what will give us the strength to keep growing,” the striker was quoted as saying by Eldesmarque.
