Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze has been shortlisted for Fulham’s Goal of the Month award for January.
The 26-year-old earned the nomination for his superb strike in Fulham’s 2-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League last month.
After returning from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Chukwueze came off the bench to restore parity for Fulham, who were trailing to Yasin Ayari’s first-half strike.
Chukwueze received a fine long through pass from Joachim Andersen, which he buried expertly in the 72nd minute.
The Nigerian international joined Fulham on a season-long loan from AC Milan and has been impressive so far.
Chukwueze has registered five goals and two assists in 11 appearances for Marco Silva’s side this term.
