Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has shared his first reaction after parting ways with Chippa United in the Premier Soccer League (PSL).
The 29-year-old has left the Chilli Boys after spending four years at the club.
The development followed a mutual agreement between the player and the club to terminate his contract.
According to Chippa United, the Super Eagles No. 1 formally handed in a transfer request, which was subsequently approved by the club.
Nwabali had signed a new three-year contract with Chippa United in 2024.
In a recent post on social media, Nwabali expressed sincere gratitude to his teammates, fans, coaches, and the club for his time in South Africa.
“It was more than a family ❤️. To my lovely teammates, dear coaches, amazing fans and great chairman, as I stand here to say farewell, a part of me will always remain with this club. I wish you success and happiness in the seasons ahead. Thank you and farewell. Until we meet again,” he wrote on X.
Nwabali has recently been linked with a move to Simba SC in the Tanzanian Premier League.
