Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes has accused Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard of hindering his team’s performance and ‘killing’ teammate, Viktor Gyokeres.
Scholes spoke on The Overlap when discussing Arsenal’s goalscoring issues from open play.
The former England midfielder believes Odegaard could be the problem of Arsenal’s goalscoring issues from open play because he is not playing good attacking football for the Gunners.
“Odegaard could be the problem,” Scholes told The Overlap when discussing Arsenal’s goalscoring issues from open play.
“Odegaard wants to play as a number 10, and if you are not playing good football, it is his job to make your team play good football. Good attacking football. I don’t think he does it.
“It also kills the centre forward [Viktor Gyokeres], he’s got nobody to play with. They are imperative to make your team play good football.”
