Chelle’s impressive performance with the Super Eagles at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations has attracted interest from several teams across the continent.
Nigeria currently boast the most lethal attack in the competition, having scored more goals than any other team at the tournament.
Eric Chelle’s side have racked up 14 goals in five matches while playing some sublime attacking football.
According to SCORENigeria, the Angolan Football Federation is considering doubling Chelle’s current wages in a bid to lure him away from Nigeria.
The Malian tactician is currently on a monthly salary of $50,000 and still has one year left on his contract with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
Angola endured a disappointing campaign at the ongoing AFCON after failing to progress from the group stage.
