Galatasaray starman Victor Osimhen is the only Nigerian player yet to report to camp following the arrival of Moses Simon on Tuesday morning.

The arrival of the Paris FC winger brings the total number of players at the team’s camp in Cairo to 27.

According to reports, there is positive energy in camp despite the Super Eagles’ 2–1 loss to Egypt in a pre-AFCON friendly on Tuesday night.

Pyramids midfielder Mahmoud Saber gave the Pharaohs the lead before Chidozie Awaziem equalised for Nigeria on the stroke of half-time.

The Nantes defender nodded home a free kick from Zaidu Sanusi after the Egyptians failed to deal with the delivery into the box.

However, the Pharaohs reclaimed their lead shortly after the restart, courtesy of Mostafa Mohammed.

Super Eagles media officer Promise Efoghe said the team will hold a gym session at 11:00 am on Wednesday, December 17, before their third training session scheduled for 5:00 pm.

The team will fly to Fez, Morocco, on Thursday to begin preparations ahead of their opening game against Tanzania on December 23.
