The Pharaohs of Egypt will reportedly be without Liverpool star Mohamed Salah and Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush for their pre-AFCON friendly later today, Tuesday, December 16.

According to FilGoal, Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan has decided to rest the two Premier League players against Nigeria.

Salah and Marmoush arrived at the Egypt camp on Monday, December 15, following their respective club appearances against Brighton and Crystal Palace.

The duo also reportedly missed the Pharaohs’ opening training session on Monday.

The international friendly will be played at the Cairo International Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 8:00 pm local time (7:00 pm Nigeria time.
