Former Super Eagles striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has named Leeds United’s stadium, Elland Road, as the most difficult stadium he played in.

Speaking in an interview with SportsCasting, the former Everton and Portsmouth forward, who played against Leeds United with Portsmouth, described the atmosphere at Elland Road as crazy on every visit.

“Hardest stadium? Leeds. Elland Road. The fans there, it is a little bit… what’s the word?

“I remember going there with Portsmouth when we were struggling against relegation.”

The former Nigerian international is one of the greatest African strikers to grace the Premier League, scoring 97 Premier League goals in 252 appearances.

The 43-year-old featured for clubs like Portsmouth, Middlesbrough, Everton, and Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League.
