FIFA has released the full shortlist of contenders for the 2025 FIFA Puskás Award.
Named after the Hungarian footballer and manager who also played for Real Madrid, the Puskás Award honours the most stunning goal scored between 11 August 2024 and 2 August 2025.
As in 2024, voting will be split evenly between global supporters and a panel of FIFA Legends, a statement on the FIFA website stated on Thursday.
Fans can cast their votes by registering on FIFA.com and ranking their top three goals, awarding five points to their favourite, three to second place, and one to third.
The Puskás Award has always highlighted the sport’s most mesmerising flashes of genius: the unexpected chip, the last-second volley, the impossible angle.

This year’s shortlist, compiled by FIFA in conjunction with global football stakeholders, continues that tradition with a lineup of goals that has already captivated supporters.
With other major categories for The Best FIFA Football Awards™ 2025 now open—including the Marta Award, Best Players, Best Coaches, and the FIFA Fan and Fair Play Awards—the release of the Puskás videos marks one of the most anticipated moments of the awards season.
