Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has been shortlisted among the candidates for the 2025 CAF Awards.

The Chippa United shot-stopper was named among the shortlists for the CAF Men's Goalkeeper of the Year award.

This means the 29-year-old has been nominated for the coveted award for the second consecutive year.

Nwabali was among the candidates who were shortlisted for the award last year, in 2024, but lost to Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Ronwen Williams.

The former Enyimba shot stopper will battle with the likes of Andre Onana, Ronwen Williams, Yassine Bounou, Vozinha, Ahmed El Shenawy, Munir Mohamedi, Edouard Mendy, Marc Diouf, and Aymen Dahmen.
