Lesotho head coach, Leslie Notsi insists his team can claim a famous victory against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.
The Crocodiles will be up against the Super Eagles in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday nine encounter in Polokwane on Friday (today).
Nigeria will head into the game as overwhelming favourites going by their pedigree and gulf in clash between both countries.
Notsi, however, believed they can beat their highly illustrious opponent.
“We are approaching this match knowing it’s not going to be easy, but the self-belief that we have had before, in our previous encounter. We believe we have an opportunity to continue where we left off in our last match in November 2023,” Notsi said ahead of the game.
The Crocodiles sit in fifth position in Group C with nine points from eight games.
