Atalanta manager Ivan Juric has praised Nigeria's Ademola Lookman following his side's 2-1 triumph over Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League.

The 27-year-old made his first start of the season as La Dea recorded their first victory, having lost to Paris Saint-Germain in their opening fixture.

Lookman featured for 61 minutes against the Belgian Jupiler Pro League giants and was replaced by Ghanaian international Kamaldeen Sulemana.

Brazilian midfielder Ederson also made his first appearance on his return from injury for Ivan Juric's side.

In his post-match reaction, Juric reserved plaudits for Lookman and Ederson for their decent performance on their return to the line-up.

“They’re quality players. They’ve been training with us for a while, I think that today is a good opportunity for them to start playing in matches,” Juric told Sky Sport Italia.
