The 2025/2026 UEFA Champions League campaign is well and truly underway, with six matches taking place on Tuesday, September 16.

The Gunners secured a crucial 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao at the San Mamés to kick off their campaign on a blistering note.

Fifteen-time winners Real Madrid also came from a goal down to beat Olympique Marseille at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Tottenham Hotspur also edged Villarreal 1-0 at home, while Union Saint-Gilloise stunned PSV Eindhoven 3-1 away at the Philips Stadion.

Another shocking result came in Lisbon, as Qarabağ stunned Benfica 3-2 at the Estádio do Sport.
