Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has been nominated for the prestigious 2025 Yachine Women's Trophy.

The 24-year-old was shortlisted alongside top goalkeepers including Ann-Katrin Berger (Gotham FC, Germany), Cata Coll (Barcelona, Spain), Hannah Hampton (Chelsea, England), and Daphne van Domselaar (Arsenal, Netherlands).

Nnadozie was named Best Goalkeeper at the recently concluded 2024 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, where she played a pivotal role in guiding Nigeria to the grand finale.

She delivered a standout performance throughout the tournament, conceding only two goals from open play across six matches.

The former Paris FC shot-stopper becomes the first African goalkeeper ever nominated for the coveted Yachine Trophy, which is awarded annually to the best goalkeeper of the season.
