Reigning African Footballer of the Year Ademola Lookman has skipped training with Atalanta for a third consecutive day as he continues to force his exit from the club.

According to reports, the 27-year-old did not show up for training on Wednesday, having already missed sessions on Monday and Tuesday.

Reports indicate that Lookman has left Italy, having previously cleared his locker at Atalanta's training ground.

Lookman declared his intention to leave the club after submitting a transfer request last weekend.

The Super Eagles winger has accused the club of breaking promises after La Dea rejected Inter Milan's €45 million bid for him.

It remains unclear whether Inter Milan will submit an improved offer for the former Leicester City man.

Lookman has two years remaining on his current contract with Atalanta.
