Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade has fired a stern warning to South Africa ahead of their semifinal super clash at the ongoing 2024 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.
The nine-time African champions will rekindle their rivalry with Banyana Banyana later today (Tuesday, July 22) in what promises to be a mouthwatering encounter in Casablanca.
The Super Falcons have scored the highest number of goals in the tournament and remain the only side yet to concede.
Banyana Banyana are the current title holders and will be looking to defend their crown.
Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated clash, Ajibade stated that these are the kind of games the Falcons have been looking forward to.
“These are the kind of games we want to play. Getting to the semifinal shows the effort the team put into every game. We try to improve ourselves in each match,” the Atlético Madrid forward told CAFonline.
