Super Falcons duo Rasheedat Ajibade and Ashleigh Plumptre have been named in the WAFCON 2024 Best XI for the group stage.

The pair played pivotal roles in Nigeria's impressive start to their WAFCON campaign.

Plumptre delivered solid defensive performances in the Super Falcons’ opening two matches against Tunisia and Botswana.

Ajibade has also stood out in attack for the Falcons across all three group-stage matches.

The skipper has been a superb link between the midfield and attack with her incredible runs.

The nine-time African champions will face the Copper Queens of Zambia in the quarterfinal on Friday, July 18, at the Stade Larbi Zaouli in Casablanca.
