Football has a way of making even the most seasoned fans feel the pressure, and for Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, it almost led to a health scare.

The Nigerian artist recounted how Manchester United defender Harry Maguire ruined his dinner invitation with Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.

According to Davido, Ronaldo had arranged an extravagant post-match experience, including a private dinner, a party, and “all the vibes” for the Afrobeats star and his entourage.

However, the evening took a sour turn when Manchester United suffered an unexpected loss.

Davido pointed the finger squarely at Harry Maguire, alleging the defender’s poor performance on the pitch was the catalyst for the defeat.

“Football ehn fit give person BP… I remember when CR7 personally invite me come watch match for Old Trafford then a couple of years ago … He don book dinner all! Party chillin etc …. Nah so dem go lose match, bab vex go house. Since that day I still never forgive Maguire.”
