Nigerian international Moses Simon has reacted to his brilliant finish against Stade Rennes in the French Ligue 1 on Sunday, December 8.

The Super Eagles winger scored the only goal late in the game to help Nantes secure a crucial victory in the Derby Breton.

Simon picked the ball on the left flank and dribbled his way between two Rennes defenders before placing his shot in the top far corner.

Reacting to his goal, the 28-year-old stated that the goal came at the perfect moment.

“I can’t say it was magical because I already did it against Lens (2022-2023 season). So, I think it was the perfect moment, especially in the derby,” Simon told DAZN.

“We needed the points, that’s the most important thing for us. We got them, and we are very happy.”

The goal was Simon's fourth goal of the season in 13 appearances for the Canaries.
