Chelsea's latest signing Filip Jorgensen has described his move to Stamford Bridge as dream come true.

The young goalkeeper joined the Blues from Spanish La Liga club Villarreal on Tuesday, July 30 in a deal worth £20.7 million.

The Danish shot stopper penned a seven-year deal with the Premier League side which will see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2031.

The 23-year-old joined the team for his first training session in Atlanta.

Speaking after joining Enzo Maresca's side, the Malmö FF academy product expressed his excitement to have joined the Blues.

"This move is a dream come true.

"I am very excited to have signed for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"I can’t wait to get to know everyone and to start playing with all my new teammates."

Jorgensen has become Chelsea's sixth summer signing so far after completing moves for the likes of Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Caleb Wiley, Renato Veiga, Omari Kellyman and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hal.
