Fans have expressed their pity for N'Golo Kante after they spotted his reaction when he received his second-ever red card of his career.

The former Chelsea midfielder, who is currently plying his trade in Saudi Arabia, was handed his marching orders while in action for Al Ittihad in the Asian Champions League.

According to SPORTbible, Kante's Al Ittihad were already two goals down against Al Hilal when the Frenchman was sent off.

Kante was red-carded in the 66th minute of the match following the intervention of a VAR, which ruled that he should get a red card for a rash challenge.

The 32-year-old's reaction to getting the red card was caught on camera, with the World Cup winner spotted looking dejected as he made his way towards the tunnel.
