Super Eagles attacker, Victor Boniface notched his 10th Bundesliga goal of the season to help Bayer Leverkusen spank Bochum 4-0 at home in the German Bundesliga Matchday 16 tie played yesterday.

It was the last league game of the year and Bayer Leverkusen won in glowing fashion to keep their four points gap at the top of the table with 42 points from 16 games.

Boniface who has been involved in all his club’s league games this season uncharacteristically started the game on the bench with Patrik Schick preferred ahead of him.

The Czech Republic striker has now given Bayer Leverkusen head coach, Xabi Alonso more selection headache after he scored a first half hat trick in the 30th , 32nd and 45th minute to give his club a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Boniface replaced the three goal hero in the 67th minute and he took him just two minutes to announce his presence when he bagged the game’s fourth goal in the 69th minute.

The former Bodo/Glimt and Union Saint Gilloise striker’s teammate and compatriot, Nathan Tella was an unused Substitute in the game.
