Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo has fingered teammate Cole Palmer as the player Mauricio Pochettino’s side trusts very much.
Caicedo who joined Chelsea in a big-money move hailed Palmer as a ‘very talented player’ who is delighting the rest of the Blues squad.
Palmer made a surprise £40 million from Manchester City on September 1.
“We trust Cole very much. He’s a very talented player and a very good penalty-taker, so we were all very confident when he stepped up,” Caicedo was quoted by Metro UK as saying.
“He is showing his best form at the moment and proving just how good a player he is. We are very happy for Cole and very happy he is playing so well for Chelsea.”
Palmer scored a last-minute penalty to secure a 4-4 draw for Chelsea against his former club Man City over the weekend.
