Victor Boniface has described Bayern Leverkusen coach, Xabi Alonso as a great coach who has a passion for football.

The striker who has had a blistering life for the club side since he joined says the former Liverpool legend knows what he wants on the pitch.

He made this known in an interview with Sports Journalist, Oma Akatugba from his home in Cologne, Germany.

"Alonso is a great guy, a great coach, a great football player. Everyone knows him. The passion is there and he knows what he wants so working with someone like him, I am very very happy," he said.

He continued: "I think he is more different from other coaches because he knows the type of football I play and tries to help me with what I don't know yet. I remember when I signed for Leverkusen, I had a meeting with him and when he was talking to me, I was just looking at him like brotherman calm down."
