Why making love with your partner is a criteria to be in Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid team

Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone has made a hilarious announcement to his team in relation to intimacy with their partners.

Simeone, renowned for his pragmatic approach to coaching, has offered a rather interesting take on the number of times his players could share loved-up moments with their heartthrobs.

During the interview, the Argentine was informed about the average frequency of close-knit engagements between Spaniards and their partners, which amounts to 56 times a year, equivalent to approximately four times per month.

But the two-time La Liga winner suggested the number was low while jokingly suggesting players who are unable to make love with their significant others more than four times in a month are not eligible to play in his team.

“How often? 56 times a year? How much is that per month? Four times? No!" He told Spanish radio program ‘El Partidazo de COPE’ as quoted by Sportskeeda.

His team finished the season on a high - losing just twice in the second half of the campaign - after a difficult start, which saw them suffer early elimination from the Champions League group stages, per GOAL.
