Liverpool to rival Real Madrid for Samuel Chukwueze

Premier League giants Liverpool have reportedly expressed interest in Samuel Chukwueze.

The Villarreal forward has gained some mileage in recent weeks following his impressive performance against Spanish champions Real Madrid in La Liga some three weeks ago.

Chukwueze, 23, hit a brace as Quique Setien's side stunned Carlo Ancelotti's men 3-2 at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Super Eagles winger has been brilliant under the former Barcelona and Real Betis boss this term, after netting 13 goals and 11 assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.

According to four four two, the Reds have set their sight on the Nigerian international as they look to add some spark to their attack.

Jurgen Klopp's side has lost some joy in attack since the departure of Sadio Mane in the summer, and the German gaffer believes that the inclusion of Chukwueze will lighten up the team's attack for next season.

However, Liverpool will face stiff opposition from Real Madrid who have reportedly expressed interest in landing the Nigerian's signature.
