As the Super Eagles prepare for their Nations Cup qualifier against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau, we look back at the highlights of the last meeting between the two sides.

Both teams last met in the group stage of the delayed edition of the 2021 Nations Cup in Cameroon with Super Eagles emerging 2-0 victors.

Goals from Sadiq Umar and deputy skipper William Troost-Ekong ensured that Augustine Eguavoen's side recorded a hundred percent record in the group phase after earlier wins against Egypt and Sudan.

Sadiq Umar put the Super Eagles ahead in the 56th minute following a superb low cross from Kelechi Iheanacho.

Troost-Ekong added the second with a quarter left to play following a beautiful piece of footwork from Moses Simon.

The Super Eagles will take on Guinea-Bissau at the MKO Abiola Stadium on Friday, March 24 before the return fixture three days later.
