U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles thrash Tunisia 4-0 to clinch bronze medal

Nigeria's U-20 team, Flying Eagles have thumped Tunisia 4-0 in the third-place match of the 2023 Nations Cup in Egypt to win the bronze medal.

Ibrahim Muhammed gave Ladan Bosso's side the lead early in the 9th minute following a great cross from Daniel Bameyi.

Nigeria went into the halftime break with a one-goal advantage despite creating many chances.

The Flying Eagles came into the second half strongly by firing from all cylinders.

Ahmed Abdullahi doubled Nigeria's lead shortly after the restart with a superb finish leaving goalkeeper Amen Mimiche helpless.

Jude Sunday made it three for the Flying Eagles three minutes later in the 48th minute before grabbing his second of the day in minute 88 to make it 4-0 in favour of Ladan Bosso's side.
