Victor Osimhen's spectacular strike against AS Roma on Sunday, January 29 has been adjudged the best goal in the Italian Serie A for the month of January.

The 24-year-old scored a goal-of-the-season contender to put the Naples-based team into the lead in the 17th minute.

After controlling kvaratskhelia's cross on his chest, the Napoli frontman allowed the ball to settle on his lap before unleashing a belter to beat Rui Patricio at his near post.

The superb strike was Osimhen's 14th Serie A goal in 16 appearances this season.

The Super Eagles striker is the leading top scorer in the Italian topflight with two goals more than his countryman Ademola Lookman.
