Premier League outfit West Ham United have submitted a £25m bid for FC Lorient striker Terem Moffi, according to reports.

The Hammers are currently sitting deep in the relegation zone and are in dire need of an attacker to turn the fortunes of the club around.

The struggling Premier League club tutored by David Moyes have shown keen interest in landing the Nigerian international by improving their initial £15m to £25m.

Sky Sports reports that West Ham have launched an initial £20m for the in-form FC Lorient striker with £5m as add-ons.'

Moffi, 24, has been the shining light for the Les Merlus this season.

Despite the club sitting in 7th position in the Ligue 1, the Super Eagles striker has been brilliant on the individual level- netting 12 Ligue 1 goals for his side.

Moffi is the second top scorer with just a single goal behind PSG's Kylian Mbappe who has managed 13 goals for the French champions in the current campaign.

The Nigerian striker has also been linked with a move to OGC Nice, Southampton and Everton.
