Spalleti praises Osimhen's influence on Napoli

Victor Osimhen is making his mark at Napoli, scoring goals and assisting in coordinating his team on the pitch.

Osimhen is one of the new leaders on the pitch for the Serie A leaders, and he proved that on the pitch with a great goal against Sampdoria on Sunday.

Luciano Spalleti says he’s happy with how the striker has evolved into one of the key figures in his side, stating that the 24-year-old has adapted his game to suit the needs of the team. 

“He has a way of staying on the field where he takes on all the responsibility and uses all the characteristics he needs in these games.”

“Lately he is paying more attention to the movements to be co-ordinated with the whole team. There are many leaders who are silent too, but this is what it’s about.” Spalleti told reporters after the win over Sampdoria.

The Nigerian international has ten goals and one assist in the league for Napoli this season.
