English Premier League side Southampton are keeping tabs on Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi.

Southampton are having a turbulent campaign and want to improve their squad in the winter market.

According L’equipe, the Saints are in the market for a prolific forward in the January transfer window and have targeted FC Lorient striker Moffi.

Moffi has been in good form for Lorient this season, scoring ten league goals – only Kylian Mbappe and Neymar Jr have scored more.

The Saints will bank on the believes the 24-year-old replicating his form in the premier league and help the club beat relegation.

The Saints are currently bottom of the table, and should the deal go through, Moffi will become the second Nigerian international at the club after Joe Aribo.

Moffi who has 33 goals in total during his two-and-a-half seasons with Les Merlus and is now valued at €30million.
