Saudi Arabia has pulled a huge surprise in Qatar after beating Argentina 2-1 at the Lusail Stadium in Doha.

Argentine captain Lionel Messi gave the South American champions the lead from the spot in the 10th minute.

The Albiceleste later had 3 goals chalked off by VAR for offside before the halftime break.

Saudi Arabia came into the second half strongly to overturn the score courtesy of goals from Al-shehri and Al Dawsari.
