Osimhen reveals the personality behind his blistering goal-scoring form this season

Napoli talisman Victor Osimhen has attributed his brilliant goal-scoring form this season to the support he has received from manager Luciano Spalletti.

The 23-year-old scored his first Napoli hattrick in the Partenopei's 4-0 thumping of Sassuolo in the Serie A on Saturday, October 29.

Osimhen, who was on the sidelines for 5 weeks due to a severe hamstring injury has been phenomenal for Spalletti's side since his return.

The Super Eagles striker has netted 6 goals in all competitions since his return from injury in their UEFA Champions League clash against Ajax on October 12.

The ex-Lille attacker has also scored in his last four matches in the Serie A and is now joint top scorer with 7 goals.

“This season the coach has given me as much confidence as I can get, the hat trick hero told DAZN after the game.

“I am really happy to rely on him to give me the maximum confidence. I just returned from five weeks out, which is not easy, it is important to really get integrated with the team.”

The victory means Napoli remains undefeated this season, as they maintained their position at the top of the Serie with 32 points.
