Leicester boss Rodgers gives update on Ndidi's injury ahead of City clash

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Wilfred Ndidi's availability for the Foxes' clash against the Premier League champions this weekend.

The 25-year-old has been on the sidelines for the last three weeks due to a nagging hamstring injury.

The Nigerian international last featured for Leicester City in their 4-0 drubbing against Nottingham Forest on October 3.

Ndidi has since missed Leicester's last four Premier League outings against Bournemouth, Crytal Palace, Leeds United, and Wolves.

However, the former Liverpool boss, Rodgers has disclosed that the Super midfielder will be available for selection when Leicester trade tackles with Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday, October 29.

“Ndidi has been back training with the squad, his availability is important, so thankfully he is available,” Rodgers said as per Football Daily.

With the return of Ndidi, the Foxes will look to build on their impressive results in their last two PL games.
