Twente wants to make Ebuehi loan permanent

FC Twente are keen to tie up a permanent deal for Benfica’s Tyrone Ebuehi, The PUNCH reports.

Ebuehi, moved to FC Twente last summer after falling down the squad pecking order at Benfica, and has since rediscovered his best form FC Twente.

The 25-year-old Nigerian right-back played 34 games and scored a goal in the 2020/2021 season.The Nigeria international has a €2m buyout clause.

Twente coach, Ron Jans, said he hoped to count on Ebuehi again next season but he had no guarantees that this could be possible.“We would like to keep Ebuehi, but he still doesn’t know if that will be possible,” the 62-year-old coach told channel 1Twente.
