Maduka Okoye has celebrated Sparta Rotterdam’s impressive 3-0 home win against Vitesse Arnhem, reports Completesports.com.

The goalkeeper has now kept seven clean sheets in the 2021 calendar year for his Eredivise side after keeping just two in the first half of the season.

Okoye was denied his ninth of the season with an 87th minute goal when Sparta Rotterdam visited Groningen last week and returned with a 2-1 but made sure lightning did not strike twice in seven days.

The Nigeria international took to the social media to show his appreciation for the win and clean sheet.

He will now be looking forward to keeping his 10th clean sheet when Utrecht come visiting next weekend with just two games left to end the season.

The former Fortuna Dusseldorf II of Germany goalie has been linked with Dutch Eredivise champion, Ajax as replacement for Andre Onana who is rumoured to be leaving when the season ends.
