I prefer to see Madrid Vs Man City in the UCL final - Amokachi

Legendary Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi says he prefers to see Real Madrid take on Manchester City in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

City booked their place in the final after defeating Paris Saint-Germain 2-0 in Tuesday’s semi-final second-leg at the Etihad.

A brace from Riyad Mahrez ensured City progressed 4-1 on aggregate and seal a first ever final appearance.

Pep Guardiola’s men will now wait for the winner of Wednesday’s second semi-final reverse fixture between Chelsea and Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge.

In the first-leg played last week, Chelsea held Madrid to a 1-1 draw and would be hoping to qualify for their first Champions League final since 2012 when they won it.

And looking ahead to today’s tie, Amokachi stated he does not want to watch two English teams slug it out in the final.

“I want to see Real Madrid and Manchester City in the final,” he said in Wednesday’s edition of ‘The Bull’s Pit’ on Brila FM.

“My apologies to all Chelsea fans but I don’t want to watch two English teams in the final.”
