Kayode Olanrewaju was among the goalscorers for Sivasspor, who beat Ankaragucu 1 – 4 at the Ankara Eryamana Stadyumu on Sunday.

Olanrewaju was impressive throughout his stay on the pitch as he won a penalty before registering his name on the score sheet.

Ivorian international Max-Alain Gradel gave the visitors the lead from the penalty spot in the 18th minute after Kayode was brought down inside the area.

The Nigerian striker scored the second goal for his team in the 48th minute after receiving a pass from Fayca Fajr.

Olanrewaju was later withdrawn by Coach Mustafa Dalci for Mustapha Yatabare.

The home side was handed a lifeline as Ahmet Oguz scored an own goal to make it 1 – 2 before Gradel set up Erdogan Yesilyurt to restore Sivasspor’s two-goal lead in the 69th minute.

Substitute Yabatare killed off any hope of a come back for the home side as he netted the game clincher in the 89th minute.

The three points moved Sivasspor to 10th position on the log.
