Swedish club AFC Eskilstuna have announced the departure of Nigerian striker Samuel Nnamani after he fired 13 goals and provided two assists for them to be safe this past season.

Nnamani’s agent has already spoken about many offers overseas with clubs in China and Korea among the front runners.

“We have bids from Asia but I do not want to name which clubs but China and South Korea are included there,” the player’s agent Franco Pertunaj to SportExpressen.

“Since then, we have received offers from the USA and also interest from Australia. Samuel has played out his contract with the AFC and is out of contract.

“Of course, Swedish clubs have heard of it, but the Swedish clubs cannot match the foreign ones financially. He has just finished playing the last match with the AFC and thanks to his 13 goals they remained in the Superettan. Now he is a free player.”

“I just want to thank you for the support, for the time I spent in this club,” the 25-year-old striker said in a video message on the club website.

He did not renew his contract after it expired at the end of this past season.
