Aguda grateful for tricky Rivers United qualification

Rivers United will face the South Africa side, Bloemfontein Celtic in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating their opponent in the first round.

After the victory, United forward, Godwin Aguda gave thanks to God after the tricky 2-0 penalty shoot-out against Equitorial Guinea side Futuro Kings. Prior to the penalty, both teams were paired at a 3 -3 aggregate scoreline. 

Aguda who opened the scoring in Sunday’s 2-1 full-time win for his second of the competition told brila.net that it was a game that turned out harder than expected but remains very glad his side got the luck of the day in the shoot out session with the visiting side missing all four taken kick from the penalty spot.
