EPL: Iwobi set for 135th game, Aina 11th

Super Eagles forward Alex Iwobi is poised to make his 135th Premier League appearance with Everton when the Toffees travel to face Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday (today), The Punch reports.

Iwobi started at right wing-back for Everton in their last two games against Fulham and Leeds which ended in a win and a defeat respectively.

So far this season the Nigeria international has made nine appearances (three from start and six as a substitute) so far this term for Carlo Ancelotti’s side who sit currently eighth with 16 points from 10 games.

Everton has suffered the most defeats in the EPL at Turf Moor by a visiting side, losing four of the six encounters. They have also not kept a clean sheet in 22 top-flight fixtures at Burnley since a 2-0 win in March 1958.

At the Etihad stadium, Ola Aina will be hoping to make his 11th appearance when Fulham face Manchester City later today.

Manchester City have won their past nine games against Fulham in all competitions by an aggregate score of 27-3.

Aina who has scored once so far this term since joining the Cottagers on a season loan from Torino has made seven EPL appearances this season.

Fulham occupies the 16th position in the EPL standing.
