The Nigeria national team have departed the country for Freetown, ahead of their 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone.

The Super Eagles had their last training session on Monday before their flight.

Gernot Rohr’s men are under pressure ahead of their reverse fixture against the Leone Stars.

Last Friday, the Eagles went 4-0 up against their less-fancied opponents, but ended up drawing 4-4 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo State.

Nigeria, however, are still in control of Group L with seven points, two more than Benin Republic who have five.

Kick off for the game in Freetown is 5pm West African time.
